Low Voltage Technician Journeyman
Job Description
SCHEDULE: Full-time regular; 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday. Some overtime, night, and weekend work may be required.
LOCATION: Sparks, NV 89431.
SALARY: $30.00- $40.00 per hr.
JOB SUMMARY: Work in the field directly with customers to install, serving residential and commercial properties with products and systems to include intrusion alarm, access control, CCTV, CATV, low voltage wire/cable, Data/Voice network solutions, Audio-Video systems, DirecTV. Experienced with Honeywell, DMP, and Bosch alarm panels. Desired certifications Microsoft, Comp TIA A+, N+, S+, BICSI Technician, NICET, and OSHA 10.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Three years of experience as a low voltage technician.
2. Valid driver’s license and must have a reliable clean truck and be on call during normal business hours at least 5 days a week. Fuel is reimbursed by the employer. MVR printout required only if selected for hire.
3. Experience and knowledge with, Technical plans, Lucidchart, CAD, and Vizio Drawings.
4. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers in English.
5. Ability to work with hand tools, and basic electrical tools of the trade required.

7. Employer conducts random drug tests and background checks.
8. The successful candidate will be very fast, highly skilled, and readily available to start.
9. Must be able to demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skills, which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.
10. Maintains records by documenting installation, service, and repairs.
11. Communicate with the customer and ensure that the customer thoroughly understands how to work the systems
